IAWRT has had a very active and productive first six months of the 2009 financial year, with solid achievements against goals.
President Olya Booyar says the organisation continues to operate efficiently and adhere faithfully to the terms of its funding agreement with its principal sponsor, the Oslo-based Forum for Women and Development (FOKUS).
On behalf of the IAWRT Board, she provided FOKUS with a report of activities for the first six months of the financial year to 30 June 2009.
These ranged from reports back from IAWRT's involvement in national, regional and international conferences to the allocation of $US12,000 in scholarships to enable members to pursure studies or attend professional workshops.
