A new set of IAWRT Board has been elected during its Members' Meeting on 24 November 2011 at Angkasapuri, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
For the first time in the history of IAWRT that an African takes on the leadership in the name of Racheal Nakitare from Kenya, previously the Vice President.
The newly elected board, with geographical representation from around the globe, has assumed its post and will serve IAWRT membership from 2011 to 2013, or up to the next Biennial Conference of the organization:
