On Friday, June 9, I received the first
Lifetime Achievement Award from the National
Campus and Community Radio Association of
Canada (NCRA -
www.ncra.ca)
Attached is a photo taken at 3:30 AM after
the after-party for the awards banquet.
(It's the only photo I've received so far of
me wearing the same outfit and with some of
those folks.) I think I look remarkably
awake, considering! It's great to get an
award -- everyone wants to talk with you
after. The only bad thing is that now lots
of people remember your name and it's really
hard to remember all of theirs. If you use
the picture for anything, the photo credit
is Brian Trota. The second person from left
is outgoing NCRA president Lydia Masemola. -
